130 ans du viaduc de Garabit : un « Monument Historique » bien vivant
At the end of September 2018 the Friends of the Garabit viaduct celebrated 130 years since Gustave Eiffel’s steel giant entered service: vintage cars and period costume, the Historic Monument plaque unveiled, the train pulling into Garabit station, and a painting competition whose theme was, of course, the viaduct.
Caroline Pons took part with « Garabit », her first landscape, painted for the occasion.

Caroline Pons à l'honneur à la Boutik 2 Kréateurs
The Boutik 2 Kréateurs in Saint-Chamas devoted an exhibition to Caroline Pons until 17 July 2018. The article recalls the spark, ten years earlier, in front of an Aboriginal-inspired canvas, and a debut rewarded as early as 2011.
